Ivy Singles Event
Friday, June 27 6:30pm
Washington Marina,
1300 Maine Av. SW,
Washington DC

The next Ivy Singles Social Club event will be a cruise up the Potomac on Friday, June 27th, hosted by the DC Penn Club. We will set sail promptly at 6:30PM from the Washington Marina, cruise down by the Presidential yacht (Sequioa) and General’s Row, then over to see Old Town Alexandria and the new National Harbor, then back up the Potomac to see all the monuments at sunset before returning to the Marina at 9:30PM. Our boat features two decks (the lower deck is air-conditioned and features a full-service bar, while the upper one has great wide-open views). There will be finger food and a cash bar along with soft drinks and spring water. If you are driving, parking is $10/car at the Marina, or use metered parking in the Fish Market/Phillips Restaurant area.

The cost of admission (which includes food) will be $35/person in advance, with a special rate of $30 for recent graduates (since 2000). Please make your check out to “DC Penn Club” and send it to: Jon Teitel, 1711 Massachusetts Ave. NW, #522, Washington, DC 20036. Last year’s cruise sold out (space is limited to 100 people), so while you are strongly encouraged to sign-up in advance, if there is any room left on the day of the cruise, the cost will be $40/person for walk-ins. For further information, please contact Jon Teitel at: jon.teitel@hotmail.com, or check out the cruise website at: www.capitalyacht.com.
