WDCSA relies on its membership dues to be able to plan and execute the many
events it offers area alumni every month.

Your membership will pay for itself after attending just one or two events

Young Alumni: Capitals Hockey Game and a Night Out
in Chinatown

Join your fellow young alumni for a night out starting with the Washington
Capitals vs. the New York Rangers, followed by a good time and luscious libations,
beginning at Fado’s. If you cannot make the hockey game, join us after the game,
starting at Fado’s.
 
Only a few tickets are left, so reserve your seat now! Take advantage of the

Hands on DC Servathon
Saturday, April 28

Come volunteer with fellow WDCSA members at the annual Hands on DC work-a-thon
on Saturday, April 28th!  The WDCSA team will be part of an all-volunteer
community-wide effort to create better schools and brighter futures for students
at one of more than 30 DC public schools in this day of service.  We’ll
be helping to refurbish a local school through painting or landscaping projects
requested by the school principal.  All supplies are provided, and no experience

A Day at the Middleburg Hunt Point to Point Races

Get out your hat and binoculars for A Day at the Races in Middleburg, VA! The
event will take place rain or shine.

$45.00 per person will cover admission, a tasty tailgate picnic and libations,
patron space at the finish line, and a souvenir program. Children under 10 are
free.

JOIN STANFORD SOFTBALL!

Spring is just around the corner and with the cherry blossoms come your fellow
Cardinal rounding third base heading for home!

Join the Stanford Cardinal in the Capital Alumni Network softball league and
catch fly balls with backdrops such as the White House and the Washington Monument.
 Practice begins in March for this slow-pitch league with the season running
from April until August.  And regardless of a pounding victory or agonizing
defeat, the team will always stop by its sponsor McFadden’s for specials on
pitchers and platters.

Join a group of Stanford alums and friends who climb every Friday from 6-10
pm. Meet us at Earth Treks indoor climbing gym in Rockville, MD.  We welcome
all, from first time climbers to experienced lead climbers. $16 for a day pass
