Adopt-a-School
Saturdays
9:45 AM
Was your New Year’s resolution to do more volunteer activities? Do you like
kids and want to do something to help but aren’t sure what? Well, here’s
your chance! The Adopt-a-School program needs you! On most Saturday mornings,
from 9:45-11:30, a group of Stanford, Princeton, and Harvard alums and their
friends come together with a group of K-4th graders who are in great need
of some positive adult attention and academic help. Tutors work with the
students on reading, writing, and computer skills. No experience necessary: simply
an interest in working with some great kids.
You don’t have to come every week, but some consistency is desirable.
